Founded in 2012 and officially Established in 2014 and recognised as the sole national sanctioning and regulatory commission for professional boxing in India, the Professional Boxing Organisation India (PBOI) operates under the highest international standards of governance, safety, and integrity.

Sanctioning Authority
PBOI is the exclusive body empowered to officially sanction professional boxing contests throughout India. Every PBOI-sanctioned event is supervised by licensed, internationally-trained referees, judges, and ring officials appointed directly by the commission.

Boxer Safety & Medical Excellence
The health and safety of athletes remain non-negotiable. PBOI maintains a rigorous approval process for ringside physicians and medical personnel, conducts regular advanced medical clinics and certifications, and ensures the presence of elite emergency medical teams at every event.

Anti-Doping & Athlete Welfare
Led by its Chairperson, PBOI enforces a zero-tolerance anti-doping programme in full compliance with global standards. Random testing, therapeutic use exemptions, and continuous education initiatives protect both the athletes and the credibility of Indian professional boxing.
